Common questions.

Do you take power wheelchairs and larger riders?

Yes. Our vans handle power chairs, non-folding manual chairs, and scooters. Standard partners carry riders up to 600 lb combined chair-and-rider weight. For higher-weight or bariatric trips, we route you to a partner equipped for it. Tell us the chair make and rider weight when you call and we match the right van.

What if my parent can't transfer to a car seat?

That's exactly what we're built for. Riders stay in their own chair the entire trip, rolled up the ramp and secured with 4-point tie-downs. No transferring, no lifting.

Can I book same-day?

Often yes, especially in Florida metros. Call as early as you can. If nothing is available today, we'll tell you honestly and book the next open window rather than promise a ride that won't show.

How does the return pickup work?

We confirm the return before the first van leaves. If you know the exact end time, we book both legs. If the appointment length is open, we set up a will-call return, and the driver comes when you're ready. No stranded rider, no scramble to find another van.

What does it cost and why can you quote instantly?

We compare our partners' real rate cards for your pickup area, chair type, and mileage, then give you the best price we can find. Florida partners typically start around $55 to $65 base plus a per-mile rate. A 10-mile wheelchair trip usually runs $85 to $125 depending on operator. We show you the number before you commit.

Do you take insurance or Medicaid?

Not today. We are private pay. If you have a Medicaid transportation benefit already set up through your plan, use that first, it's free to you. We're for the rides Medicaid doesn't cover, the trips that are same-day, on a weekend, non-medical, or that need to actually show up.

Can I book a ride for someone else?

Yes, and most of our callers do. Adult children book from another city all the time. We'll call the rider directly to confirm, and we can text or call you when they're picked up and dropped off.

What phones can I use?

Any phone. Smartphone, flip phone, cordless, corded landline. There is no app to install and no account to create. You call, we book.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel free up to 2 hours before pickup. Inside 2 hours, some partners charge a small cancellation fee. We tell you the exact terms when you book.

Is this non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT)?

Our fleets include licensed NEMT operators, but we also do plenty of non-medical rides. Groceries, church, family visits, a haircut. If it's a place you want to go and you need a wheelchair van, we'll get you there.
